HSS Stena Explorer
Application of the ClearShield® System on the Stena Explorer was commissioned after a successful trial period, which had been monitored closely by the ship’s captain. The ferry was treated whilst in dry dock, so cherry pickers were used to complete the project within a very tight deadline.
HSS made the decision to use the ClearShield® System to stop staining of the glass caused by the harsh marine environment as well as reduce the cleaning frequency.
